Another Designer Mystery Block DONE!!!! Just 7 more to catch up!!!

I also worked on this, but an no longer loving my fabric choices. What do you do when you no longer love your fabric???

Here's my "Most Inspirational" girl and I headed to the soccer banquet. I can't belive her first year of high school is almost over!!

Abby Bakota

Nicole, my four year old niece, is having her 5th birthday this weekend. She is a complete girly-girl who LOVES dolls (my daughter has never touched a doll!). "Abby Bakota", a Cabbage Patch Premie is her favorite.

For her 5th birthday, she has asked for clothes for Abby. While I am happy to make quilts for her and Abby, I draw the line at clothes. I just don't have the skill or the patience to take that one. Fortunately, I have a WONDERFUL friend, who happens to be my shop manager, who makes doll clothes.

In our area, Marianne is well known for her handmade, American Girl Doll clothes. She attends a couple local craft shows each year and sells her beautiful clothes. She's got princess dresses, shoes and more. Well, I asked her to make an outfit or two for Nicole's birthday and she did. But I have to tell you, she went above and beyond!!! The outfits are darling. Just look at all the detail! She's amazing and I'm so touched that she would do this for me. They are just beautiful.

Aren't they incredible? I can't believe all the detail, time and love that went into these outfits! Thanks again, Marianne!

Puppy Love...

Awwww, our Cozy Friend, Helen, breeds cockapoos. She recently had a couple litters and brought a couple puppies to their weekly knitting group. Aren't they cute?????

I wish I had a shop dog!! (Don't worry, my landlord wouldn't let me!)

Marcia loves the puppies. She recuse greyhounds too!
